Bassadone Automotive Nordic has been recognized as one of the best workplaces in Finland for the fourth time.

Finland’s Best Workplaces were announced on Wednesday, March 20, and Bassadone Automotive Nordic group was recognized as the 7th best workplace in the large companies category. Bassadone Automotive Nordic has received the Great Place To Work certification four times in Finland, three times in Estonia, and twice in Latvia.

Renowned for its innovative approach in the traditional automotive industry, Bassadone Automotive Nordic Ltd. has been recognised for the fourth time as one of Finland’s Best Workplaces. On the list published on Wednesday, March 20, Bassadone ranked 7th  in the large companies category. The company, which heavily invests in its personnel, has earned the GPTW certification in Finland for four consecutive years. Bassadone has received the certification three times in Estonia, and in Latvia, it has been received twice. Bassadone has pioneered the automotive industry in terms of GPTW development, being Finland’s first GPTW-certified automotive company in 2020.

The year 2023 marked a period of strong growth for Bassadone. The group’s import operations expanded in Finland and the Baltic countries with Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Jeep, and Opel. In the Baltic countries, the group started also as Nissan’s importer. The group’s retail business expanded with three new outlets. Starting in March 2024, the group’s retail operations in Finland and the Baltics will be known as Auto Bassadone. Despite challenging economic conditions, the company sold 21,000 new cars during the year, with a turnover of 720 million euros.

The Best Places to Work list ranking is based on the Trust Index employee survey results led by Great Place To Work. The Trust Index score of 78% in Finland indicates that the company’s employees enjoy their work and value their employer. 83% of Bassadone’s employees believe the company is a good place to work.

The certificate can be awarded if the Trust Index© of the surveyed company exceeds 65 in extensive measurements. This means that at least seven out of ten company employees should perceive it as a good workplace. On average, the Trust Index© in Finnish working life is 38.
